Our (8) treatment lawn care program for Zoysia and Bermuda turf has been designed to address the special needs of warm season turf in the Atlanta area. Each treatment is custom-tailored to the conditions of your lawn. From the Early Spring visit to help prevent weeds from growing to the Winterizing treatment in the fall for root development, we only use professional grade products to produce superior results.
EARLY SPRING APPLICATION
The first visit of the year consists of pre-emergent herbicide to prevent spring weeds, a post emergent herbicide is applied when needed.
SPRING APPLICATION
This application contains a second treatment of pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass. Nitrogen is used to help the turf break dormancy along with potassium to further stimulate the root zone.
EARLY, MID AND LATE SUMMER APPLICATIONS
These three applications are designed to strengthen the turf. We use balanced fertilizers and post emergent weed control to maintain optimum appearance. We also scout for various insects and diseases on every application.
FALL APPLICATION
The fall application consists of a blend of pre-emergent targeting winter weeds and potassium for root growth. We have found that a strong root system helps reduce the frequency of winter dead spots. A broadleaf weed control is applied at this time if needed.
LATE FALL APPLICATION
This visit is very important. A winterizing treatment of potassium is applied to enhance root development and protect the plant from winter damage. A pre emergent may be applied at this time as well depending on the environmental conditions that contribute to the germination of certain weeds. A broadleaf weed control is applied at this time if needed.
LATE FALL/ WINTER APPLICATION
Dolomitic limestone is applied to help the lawn establish proper PH characteristics. Lime is essential to allow the turf access to calcium, magnesium and many other minerals in which will allow our treatments to be more effective. A low ph balance can severely affect the uptake of these essential nutrients and have an adverse affect on the turf. A broadleaf weed control is applied at this time if needed.
