If you spent any time outside during the month of November, chances are good that you noticed it was freezing! In fact, November’s temperatures made the top five for the lowest overall average temperatures in Georgia history!
Usually, the average temperature for November in the metro Atlanta area is 54 degrees. However, we experienced a month-long average of about 49 degrees, 5 degrees lower than typical averages. It wasn’t just cold, though. The entire state of Georgia also experienced a record-high during the month of November!
As many weather predictions dictate, Georgia can expect to experience dry weather and average, cool temperatures. However, as we look ahead into the three-month outlook, Georgia is expecting much more precipitation. In addition to rain, it’s predicted that many parts of the country, including Georgia, will experience above-average temperatures.
