LAWN CARE PROGRAM SERVICES
PRE/POST-EMERGENT WEEK APPLICATIONS
These treatments aid in the prevention of grassy and broadleaf weeds. We apply pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weeds that haven’t already taken root. The post-emergent treatment eradicates already existing weeds as well as eliminates any weeds that were not fully affected by the pre-emergent treatment.
Note: Not every weed is preventable and no pre-emergent is 100% effective.
FERTILIZER APPLICATIONS
Unlike other lawn care companies, we use custom-blended fertilizers that are specially blended for Georgia lawns and specific weather conditions. Our custom formulated fertilizer helps to promote the strength and growth of a green and healthy lawn. Our fertilizer program emphasizes getting Phosphorus back in our customers’ lawns, as it plays a vital role in overall lawn appearance. Not only will your lawn look great, it will also be better at fighting off weeds to keep a pristine look.
NUTSEDGE PREVENTION & CONTROL
Nutsedge is one of the most difficult weeds to control in Georgia. As a courtesy to our customers, we include a special treatment for this pesky weed as part of our basic program.
Note:All Turf is one of the only companies in Georgia that include a specialized application to help prevent and control Nutsedge and Kyllinga.
LIMESTONE APPLICATION
Most lawns in Georgia grow in soil that is highly acidic. Limestone works to neutralize the soil’s acidity and allows it to use fertilizer more efficiently.
BROADLEAF & GRASSY WEED CONTROL
Broadleaf and grassy weeds will sometimes try to move in and infest your lawn. We’ll stamp them out before they can spread.

Most lawn care companies apply regular fertilizers. We custom blend our fertilizer based on current weather conditions and what your lawn needs.
One nutsedge plant can produce up to 90,000 seeds with 50 – 90 % of them being viable. That’s 45,000 – 81,000 new weeds trying to infest your lawn!
Georgia’s largest park, F.D. Roosevelt State Park, is 9,049 acres. We treat nearly twice that amount in metro Atlanta every year.
Most warm season turf lawns need to be mowed every 5-7 days. Make sure you only cut 1/3 of the blade to ensure good color and dense growth.
Not every weed is preventable. Weeds such as dallisgrass are almost impossible to prevent and are extremely tough to control.
The majority of lawn diseases and turf thinning can be avoided or rectified by proper mowing, watering, fertilization, and aeration.
In Spain, they make a drink called horchata that is made from ground nutsedge tubers. But don’t worry. We don’t want to drink your lawn’s nutsedge, we just want to kill it!
Poa annua is one of the sweetest grasses for animals to graze on. While it might taste sweet to animals, it doesn’t look so sweet on your lawn.
