Keeping Ornamental Shrubs & Plants Healthy
All Turf Lawn Care knows how important your lawn is to you and how important of an investment it is when it comes to your home’s property value. When you spend time and money on landscaping, the last thing you want is for your lawn or plants to get sick; that’s why All Turf follows the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to ensure the maintenance of your ornamental trees, shrubs, and ornamental grasses.
What is IPM?
This definition of IPM is straight from the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency):
“Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment. The IPM approach can be applied to both agricultural and nonagricultural settings, such as the home, garden, and workplace…”
